We were really happy to have been able to show just what can be done to a house in terms of energy efficiency, CO2 reduction and importantly warmth and comfort – whether you have a small or large budget.

Chris talked about having negative bills to the tune of around -£300 – and this is actually with pretty much constant occupancy day and night! This figure is made up of having very low gas bills, low electricity bills and payments from the Feed-In-Tariff. Our modelling indicates that if a standard renovation had been undertaken then the annual bills would have been well in excess of £2,000.
