Training Overview

Parity Projects was the first organisation to develop nationally accredited training courses for retrofit available in the UK back in 2007. These have also been awarded independent recognition by the Homes and Communities Agency.

They come in two forms:
  1. The award-winning Understanding Sustainable Refurbishment Level 2 Qualification developed with Awarding Body EAL. We are an approved EAL training centre to deliver ourselves, but also offer 'train the trainer' course to other Training Centres who want to deliver the learning and assessment. 
  2. One-day courses: A suite of BTEC Level 3 modules designed for tradespeople and professionals to add to their knowledge and to allow them to build qualifications over time.

We want to build a common language across the industry for low energy and water efficient refurbishment by ensuring that all parts of the supply chain have a strong grounding in the principles, are themselves convinced of their value and can convince clients to take this approach.
