Carshalton Grove Eco-Renovation Demonstration house
Victorian house eco renovation project
This property was originally an ordinary, solid walled house built in 1870, with no south facing roofs and in need of renovation throughout. Due to its ubiquitous design and decorative standard it was a prime candidate for applying and testing eco-principles that could be applied in any house.

During 2006, the house underwent an eco-renovation and has achieved a 60% reduction in water consumption and 70% reduction in CO2 emissions. More...
